About me
I, Oliver, set up my business back in May 2023 following my passion for the outdoors and working in the countryside. I enjoy fishing small syndicate waters in my spare time for carp with my personal best being a 51 lb common that I caught in Berkshire. I personally love what I do for work and enjoy every job that I go to as I always see each landscape as a new adventure. The outdoors is where I grew up and is where I belong. I decided to start my business after spending many years in the countryside. Working with livestock and fauna as well as spending every day outside is such an amazing opportunity to have and I make sure to savour every moment of it.
My passion started when I was young and I used to regularly go fishing with my grandad and my brother where I realized I was born for the outdoors. I love every day that I work and every job I go to. I also love to help people and doing a service that they may not be able to do themselves and seeing them happy with the end results gives me great pleasure. I am a very family oriented person and live at home with my wife and my son who I plan to one day share my passion for the outdoors with.
Once I had finished my GCSE’s I decided to go to college to further my knowledge in fishery management and found myself enjoying every practical and written assignment I received. After I had completed all my training in the fisheries industry I furthered my knowledge and went into the businesses of horticulture, arboriculture and forestry, giving me a large skillset to one day start my own business. I now hold A-levels and a large portfolio in fishery management, horticulture, arboriculture, forestry and aquatics. I further hold all of my licenses to do the work I do safely such as my chainsaw license, waste carrier license and importantly spend a lot of time fulfilling Environment Agency documents to ensure the movement of any live stock is done properly and carried out professionally.
